Mulled Wine (Glühwein, “glow-wine”) Recipe

This spiced, warm wine will keep you toasty on cold winter nights, like a hug in a cup..

INGREDIENTS:

1 (750 ml) bottle red wine (cheap and cheerful is fine!)
1 orange peel, only use the thin outer orange layer – the white inner layer is bitter
1/4 cup Black Dragon Cinnamon Sugar
8 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise
50g fresh ginger
5 bay leaves

TO MAKE:

Put all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a medium heat (but not boiling) then simmer for 15 minutes. Strain and serve warm.

寒冷的冬夜,手捧一杯散发着温暖香料美味的热红酒,会使你心情大好,喝一口下去,全身暖洋洋的,像一个来自杯子里的拥抱。

配料:

1 瓶 (750毫升) 红葡萄酒 (中等价位的餐酒就好)
1 个橙子的皮,用削皮器刮下黄色的最外层
1/4 杯墨龙玉桂香料糖
8个 整粒丁香
2个 肉桂棒
2个 八角
30克 生姜切片
5片 月桂香叶

做法:

把所有配料放在锅里,加热到40度左右,(手还可以摸锅的外面,不烫手,红酒刚刚开始冒热气)之后用文火慢熬15分钟。把所有香料过滤,趁热喝。
