How to change the PPT background image

To add a background in PowerPoint you can of course just drop an image or shape and then move it to the back layer, but this is irritating because you have to copy it to each slide and it’s easy to accidentally select it when you’re moving around other elements. So to add a background that you can’t edit in the usual way, it’s ‘locked’ in place, you can:

  1. To change the background of your PowerPoint slides start by right-clicking a slide or going to the ‘Design’ (设计) tab in the top menu bar.
  2. Choose ‘Format Background’ (设置背景格式) and you’ll be given all kinds of choices, from gradient fills to custom jpg images.
